Privacy policy

What the app stores

Glance Studio stores your projects, their messages, media references, settings and rendered videos on your device. There is no account, no server of ours and no cloud sync.

Photos and files

On iOS the app asks for Photos access to pick images and videos for backgrounds, phone screens and attachments, and to save rendered videos. On Mac it uses the system file picker and the folder you choose. Media is read only to render your project.

Ads on iOS

The iOS app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: a full-screen ad when the app opens and a rewarded video before each export. AdMob may collect the device's advertising identifier, approximate location from the IP address and usage signals to serve and measure ads, under Google's privacy policy. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other apps. The Mac app contains no advertising software.

Voiceover model download

To generate voiceovers the app downloads the Maya1 model weights from Hugging Face once, on request. Your text and audio are generated on your device and are not sent to Hugging Face or anyone else.

Network

Apart from the ad SDK on iOS and the one-time model download, the app makes no network requests. Projects and renders never leave the device.

Purchases

The Mac app is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple handles payment; we never receive your card details.

Sharing

Glance Studio does not sell or share personal information beyond the AdMob activity described above. Information may be disclosed where the law requires it.
