Make faceless chat story videos with an original script

A faceless chat story uses the conversation as the visual subject, so the creator does not need to appear on camera. Glance Studio animates the script you write. It does not automatically research stories, run a channel or publish videos for you.

Choose a repeatable premise, not copied conversations

Pick a setting that naturally produces new situations: a fictional repair desk, two roommates or a team organizing an event. Write down what each recurring character wants and how they tend to reply. This gives the series continuity without repeating the same joke.

A first batch might explore a misplaced object, a mistaken instruction and an unexpected delivery. Draft the complete ending for each one before building the animations. If two episodes resolve in the same way, revise the premise rather than changing only the names.

Build a small production routine

Choose a readable chat look, restrained background and a consistent naming style. Enter one script, preview it, then export a test before preparing the rest. A reusable visual approach saves decisions, but each story still needs its own pacing.

Keep a simple record of the script, media source, project location and export. Make the filename describe the episode so you can find the right version when correcting a line. Do not assume the website or a social platform is storing your editable project.

Use optional narration to support the messages

Decide whether the series works silently, with your own narration or with speech available on the device. Glance’s optional on-device voiceover needs compatible hardware and a model download. Test one scene before planning a whole batch around it.

Match the spoken meaning to the visible messages. A decorative background should not introduce a second story the viewer has to follow at the same time. The absence of an on-camera presenter makes clear writing and visual hierarchy more valuable.

Publish deliberately and improve the next episode

Export a clean MP4 and inspect it in the platform’s upload preview. Keep the original master if you plan to post on more than one service, then tailor the title, cover and caption to each destination.

A faceless format does not guarantee reach or income. Use your own stories and appropriately licensed media, and distinguish fiction from evidence. Review which openings communicate clearly and improve the next script rather than mass-producing near-identical posts.
